BUILDING STRENGTH + RESILIENCE

We often take on too much and find ourselves running on empty. Our latest plan offers both physical practice to build strength, as well as time for rejuvenation. Focusing on yoga, meditation and strength building practices that create stability in your body, you will cultivate both strength and softness, so you can meet your days with clarity, resilience and confidence when you need it most.


Plan Overview

This plan is designed to cultivate both physical strength and mental resilience. Integrating the principles of yoga, strength training, and mindfulness to create a balanced routine that not only builds physical robustness but also fosters emotional and mental wellbeing. There are 7 classes in total, designed to be completed in numerical order. They can be done back-to-back (over 7 days) or over a period of 2 weeks, with rest days as required. Once you have completed the programme you can dip back into the classes, based on your daily needs.

Over the 7 day plan, you will:

  • Feel stronger in body and mind - the combination of yoga, mindful strength training, and resilience-building practices will leave you feeling more empowered and capable in both your body and mind.

  • Increase confidence - experience improvements in your strength, flexibility, and overall fitness. These positive physical changes, coupled with the mental resilience cultivated through mindfulness practices, will contribute to a boost in self-assurance and confidence in your abilities.

  • Increase creativity - enjoy dynamic exercises that challenge your body and mind, unlocking new perspectives and stimulate your creative thinking.

  • Discover and embody resilience - by embracing challenges with a mindful and resilient mindset, you'll discover a newfound ability to bounce back from setbacks, adapt to change, and face life's stressors with a sense of calm and inner strength.

What you can expect:

  • Mindful yoga sequences that place emphasis on the breath and grounding poses

  • Restorative yoga postures to promote relaxation

  • Meditation to enhance mental resistance

  • Strength training exercises with an emphasis on controlled, deliberate movements

  • Bodyweight exercises, resistance exercises and compound movements for a well-rounded approach to strength training

  • Exercises that challenge both stability and strength


Class Overview

Below is an overview of the classes included in the plan:

  • DAY 1 | BUILDING STRENGTH + RESILIENCE | GROUNDING TO STABILISE YOGA FLOW: Start by tuning into your body and feeling supported before enjoying a gentle flow and a series of balances. The sequence includes a guided massage of the feet with a ball to help release tension. Come back to this flow if you feel stress building to help you unwind and calm your nervous system down/ tap into a parasympathetic state.

  • DAY 2 | BODYWEIGHT METCON: Start building strength with our bodyweight metcon class. You’ll undertake 3 rounds of 6 compound (targeting multiple muscle groups) before a cardio focused finisher. Push yourself and develop strength and resilience.

  • DAY 3 | FEEL EMPOWERED YOGA FLOW: Join Jenny for an empowering yoga flow to leave you feeling your ultimate best self and get rid of any lingering negative energy. Believe in yourself and connect with your own personal power!

  • DAY 4 | MEDITATION FOR RESILIENCE: During this short meditation, Jenny guides you in learning to recognise and appreciate all the ways you embody resilience. It’s a great practice to begin your day with a boost of inner strength or to turn to during challenging times.

  • DAY 5 | DUMBBELL METCON: Test your strength by using dumbbells in this metcon class. You’ll undertake 2 metabolic conditioning circuits, made up of compound exercises, designed to improve strength, endurance and power.

  • DAY 6 | CONFIDENCE BOOSTING YOGA FLOW: Starting slowly with the breath and body awareness, before building into a series of twists and some fun balance sequences. You’ll finish this 25 minute class feeling confident, powerful, capable and ready to take on the rest of your day.

  • DAY 7 | DANCERS POSE: Join Vicky for a 30 minute heart opening vinyasa flow for exploring dancer’s pose. Move with breath and enjoy.
