SALTED CACAO MILKSHAKE

This week, myself, Jenny and Freddie went on a little road trip (check out our latest Reel on Instagram)! We love visiting new places, and in particular trying out the different eateries. We stumbled upon a lovely brunch spot with a delicious array of homemade smoothies and juices. The Salted Chocolate Milkshake was a clear winner - smooth and creamy, and I just knew I had to try and recreate the recipe once I got home. 

The recipe I’ve created requires just a handful of ingredients and is super quick to make! Plus you’ll reap the benefits of cacao. It’s naturally rich in copper, magnesium, zinc and protein, which nourish your body in multiple ways.

Recipe

  • 200ml almond milk

  • 1 large frozen banana

  • 2 dates

  • 1 tbsp cacao powder 

  • A pinch of salt

  • A pinch of ground cinnamon 

  • 2 ice cubes


Method

  1. Simply pop in a high speed blender and blitz until smoothie.

Top tip: Add a dusting of cacao powder and a sprinkle of cacao nibs.
