FIRE UP FEBRUARY

Stoke your inner fire this February with the Balance + Glo’s team of experts.

With our new Power Yoga and Cardio Controlled Pilates series on the on-demand library, we will be showing you how to incorporate some heat into your routine. Helping to keep your mind illuminated and body healthy throughout the winter months. Join us live and warm-up the body with our energising Monday morning class whilst finding Power in Friday’s Strength Class. 

This February we will be encouraging our members to: 

  • Get moving to stoke your inner fire: It’s important to keep your lymphatic, digestion and general circulation moving during the winter season. Vigorous exercise at this time of the year is a great way of counteracting the colder weather. Try adding some power to your yoga practice with Olivia’s new 4 part series, or incorporate pilates moves into a circuit for an energising full body workout with Emma’s new cardio-controlled series.

  • Power Up your lunch as Evelyn shares weekly lunch recipes: Be inspired by energy boosting power lunches. Expect nutritious, whole food lunches that are simple to create.

  • Create heat within the body: Increase circulation, balance the nervous system, and purify the body with Jenny’s new ‘Breath of Fire’ guided breath work session.

This month we are excited to share two new on-demand series with you:

  • Join Olivia for a 4-part power yoga series to add some fire into your yoga practice.

    Power yoga focuses on finding active range strength and utilising the rhythm of the breath. In this series, you’ll be able to explore some more advanced asanas including inversions and backbends.

  • Join Emma for a 4-part cardio-tone pilates series, focused on toning and building strength safely, all in the comfort of your own home.

    Each class incorporates low impact pilates moves into circuits to build cardiovascular endurance. An efficient and dynamic way to refresh and recharge the body and the mind.

That’s why this month we are going to be making sure you’re giving your body the nutrients it needs to power you through your day.

From inspiring pack lunches, to how to best prepare for the week ahead, and dishes that are quick to reheat throughout the week. Plus this month, the B+G team will be sharing their favourite recipes from the Balanced Life Blog.

This month, learn about the power of your breath and give the ‘Breath of Fire’ a go with Jenny.

This practice helps to release toxins in your body and also brings a wave of energy. It’s great for practicing before starting a yoga class or at the beginning of your day. You can also check out our other breath work classes on the on-demand library. 

On the Balanced Life Blog we will be sharing the power of letting go (with new flows and meditations), how to love your heart this Valentines, plus Dr Pippa shares the importance of touch and shares her first massage tutorial.
