APRIL 2021 | REVIVE YOUR MORNINGS + YOUR 30 DAY CHALLENGE

Whether you count yourself as a morning person or you love to lie in,  we believe it’s important to have some sort of structure to those first couple of minutes (or hours if that’s possible!) of your day.

Wondering why or how you could improve on your current habits? The Balance + Glo team have come together to create Revive Your Mornings this April and support you in getting the best out of everyday as we head towards summer

There are numerous benefits to not just simply rolling out of bed, wolfing down a bowl of cereal and getting behind your desk each morning. Feeling rushed in the mornings and not having enough time to do things which support your wellbeing can have negative effects on numerous things. This includes your productivity, confidence, stress levels and overall emotional health during your day and it can also begin to affect those around you too. 

As the mornings become a little lighter, we wanted to make the most of this new time and harness this little bit more light and energy for your day ahead. At Balance + Glo the team understand that the pressures of the day start the moment you wake up, but what if there was even just one habit you could adopt that would give yourself time in the mornings to wake your body up and prepare yourself to have the best day ahead - how do you think you would feel?

This month our 30 day challenge incorporates 30 different ideas and tips on how you can revive your morning routine. Every WEDNESDAY IN APRIL you’ll receive an email from us with 7 DAYS of tips and challenges that you can then chose to implement (these will also be on the Balanced Life Blog) and a challenge calendar to help keep track. We know your mornings will be completely unique to you, awkward work schedules, tricky home situations and lack of space are all reasons why adopting morning rituals can prove difficult. Apply a healthy dose of flexibility and self kindness and one of our suggested tips. rituals or challenges might inspire you to try with an open mind. They will include classes, recipes, expert wellbeing tips and much more, meaning that you can try them, implement them and choose what works for you.

  • Our LIVE schedule of x5 classes a week will be focused on energising you for the day ahead and setting you up for well deserved rest and sleep. With HIIT, Strength, Yoga and Relaxation all geared towards supporting you to feel revived, refreshed and find joy in everyday.

  • On demand Yoga - Introducing Our Wake Up + Flow Yoga Series - x4 15 Minute Morning Yoga Flows with the wonderful Emma H to ensure you feel awesome for your day ahead- so whether you are time poor or time rich, you can awaken your mind and body for the day ahead. We will be launching one a week throughout the month.

  • On demand Movement with PT Evelyn - Look out for a range of awesome classes on demand to suit everyone whether you have 5 minutes or 30 minutes - from a 5 minute stretch, to an energising HIIT and Low impact class both under 15 mins to get you feeling good in the mornings.

  • We will be encouraging you to MOVE outside in every way possible - whether you take your yoga mat outdoors, head for a run, take a mindful walk PLUS You’ll be able to join PT Evelyn in person for awesome Outdoor sessions on the Isle of Wight.

  • Healthy seasonal breakfast, brunch and snacks recipes - from quick weekday smoothie fixes to longer delicious weekend family brunches

  • Nutritionist and health coach Louise Murray mini coaching videos will be reminding us of the importance of breakfast – why you should always make room for breakfast for the importance for stress regulation, hormone balancing, mood, energy!

  • Lou will share her 7 foods to eat at breakfast to kick-start your day feeling energised and uplifted. Including a challenge to try and add one of these foods into your breakfast each day for the next 7 days….bonus points if you add more than 1 in per day!

  • On the On Demand Class Library you’ll also be able to try a gratitude meditation with Jenny to help start your day with the right mindset.

  • Discover the science behind getting your morning rituals in place and our top tips to encourage you to become more of a morning person even if you’re not one via The Balanced Life Blog

  • Dr Pippa will be guiding you through the perfect morning skincare routine to leave your skin glowing all day long and suggesting some of her favourite products.
