Grain Free Granola Recipe
Servings: 1 medium jar
Time to create: 30 minutes
Ingredients
30g coconut flakes
100g almonds
20g sunflower
30g pumpkin
2tbsp chia seeds
20g sesame seeds
20g hemp
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp coconut oil
4 tbsp maple syrup
Serving suggestion: yogurt, fresh fruit and goji berries
Method
Preheat the oven to 160 C.
Place the all the ingredients apart from the coconut oil and maple syrup into a large mixing bowl and stir until well combined.
Melt the coconut oil over a medium heat in a pan. Allow to cool slightly before adding the maple syrup (these are lightly to stay separated). Poor over the granola ingredients and stir until evenly coated.
Spread the granola out onto a lined baking tray and place in the centre of the oven. Bake for approximately 30 minutes, taking out of the oven to toss every 8-10 minutes. The granola is done when golden and crisp. It will continue to harden (and get it’s crunch) when out of the oven.
Allow to cool before storing in an airtight jar.
