WHAT’S ON THIS CHRISTMAS ON THE ISLE OF WIGHT

The Balance + Glo team has been on the look out for Christmas fun to have with our family and friends in the lead up to Christmas.

We are loving that there is so much Christmas magic happening all over the Isle of Wight this December, so we thought we’d put together this Isle of Wight festivities Guide to help you fill your calendar with all things Christmassy too.

Let Tapnell Farm Park take you on a magical Christmas adventure around the world...to help save Santa's Sleigh!

There is another world of imagination to discover this Christmas at Tapnell! Travel away from the humdrum, far from your daily worries, and straight to a place of wonderment. The characters in this Christmas experience will really draw you in to the adventure and magic.

Polar at Robin Hill Country Park

10th, 11th, 17th – 23rd, 27th & 28th December

Pippa the polar bear invites you back into her world of Polar as it returns to Robin Hill this Christmas…with even more magic sprinkled on top!

Immerse yourself in the spectacular scenery of this wintery wonderland, with enchanted woodland, and alluring illuminations that will dazzle all ages.

Relax and get cosy in front of our open fires, with luxury hot chocolates, or spiced mulled wine.

Santa Special at Isle of Wight Steam Railway

10, 11, 17, 18 and 21 – 24 December

You can board one of the majestic steam trains for a magical journey through wintery woodland from the comfort of a heated and beautifully restored carriage.

After your train ride, follow the winter walkway to Santa’s North Pole station. Every child visiting Santa will receive a beautifully wrapped, wonderful high-quality gift.

Carol Concert at The Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary

10th & 11 December

How can you not think about donkeys at Christmas time, especially as Little Donkey is a must in most children’s Christmas concerts! So we had to mention The Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary’s annual carol/nativity concert is returning. It’s free but donations made go back to the sanctuary to care for the Donkeys.

The Carol/Nativity Concert has school participation, plus there is Santa in a Stable, and plenty of festive fun! And obviously all money

Mottistone Gardens and Estate on the Isle of Wight is opening the gardens for one special day of art this Christmas.
