Why the Isle of Wight?
I was living in London and enjoying city life when I met my partner on the first day of our first paramedic course. I was happily single (so I thought!), but little did I know how much my life would change for the better! We lived together in Hertfordshire for three years until he had a good opportunity to take on a family property – we soon jumped at the chance for a better life-balance by the beach! Being originally from the island, he knew how much I would love it here and he was absolutely right…
Best thing about living on an island
What is not to love? One of the best things for me is the sense of calm you can find around the island, you’re never far from the ocean or a good walk which is an instant escape for me.
Favourite place (s) on the Isle of Wight
The walk between Ventnor seafront to Steephill Cove- a little cove of the cutest café’s and restaurants
Priory Bay- one of the best places to watch a sunrise on the island
St Catherine’s Oratory – the views here on a clear day are amazing you can see the whole island!
