THE POWER OF PLAY - JUNE
This June we wanted to create a space that would allow our members to not take themselves too seriously. To provide an opportunity to connect with their inner child, and find more creativity and freedom within their yoga practice. Rather than fearing failure, we will be encouraging a practice of letting go - showing that more is possible than initially perceived. Become a member today and take part in live classes and access our new on-demand series - you will be guided through playful sequences, working on balance poses, as well as progressions towards headstands and wheel.

As a member, we will introduce you to the ‘Power of Play’ in our Live Classes with Wheel and Headstands, and our new ‘Progression to Crow’ series. Whilst join Evelyn every Friday for a yoga-inspired strength class, cultivating balance, mobility and flexibly to support you develop the necessary strength for this month’s focused postures. Continue to build cardiovascular endurance and enjoy a feel good workout with Evelyn every Monday with her 45 minute Live Bodyweight Class.
Progression to Crow
Arm balances are a great form of play. Whether you are new to arm balances or yoga, this new 3-part on-demand series with Emma will help you develop smart and effective yoga sequencing, as well as providing lots of options that will make crow feel more achievable.
Headstands
Now you don’t have to do a headstand to practice yoga, but they do offer many benefits. From improving balance, to teaching you to enjoy the journey, and learning to let go and try ‘challenging’ things. Throughout June, Olivia will help you build strength in the upper body and core to support your journey towards headstands and beyond. You will be provided with drills and flows that will give you the Power to Play, and be provided encouragement, quality advice and a safe environment to explore. You never know, you might surprise yourself!
Wheel
Open your heart to a new perspective with wheel pose with Jenny this June. Boost your energy, whilst strengthening your arms, legs, core and spine. Throughout the month Jenny will guide you through preparatory poses, variations (supported bridge and half wheel), as well as the space to try full wheel.
Beach Yoga
If you’re based on the island or planning a visit this summer, as a B+G member you’ll gain an exclusive member discount to our Beach Yoga Classes. Classes are held on Compton Fields Beach with dates throughout the summer. The cost for B+G members is just £6.00 per session (compared to a non-member price of £10).
This month we will be sharing with our members recipes worthy of a celebration, with a selection of new sweet and savoury recipes. So, whether you’re having a picnic, hosting a BBQ, or attending a street party, we’ve got a recipe for all occasions.
Members will receive weekly recipes from Jubilee Breakfast Cups, Mushroom Sausage Rolls, Crudités and Dips, and Pizza Slices to-go, ensuring their guests are nourished and don’t go hungry. Plus Evelyn will be on hand to answer our members’ foodie questions, providing recipes to inspire, seasonal tips, and snack solutions.

This month our team of experts have specially curated a series of classes and activities to make the most of the Summer Solstice. Join us for a Live Online morning sunrise yoga flow, be guided by our on-demand sun meditation, show gratitude for nature with our mindfulness in nature activities, and let your skin glow with Dr Pippa’s top tips.
