We’re encouraging you connect with your true nature, see the sacred within the everyday and welcome happy habits in your life.
You can expect meditations for positivity, endorphin boosting workouts, community support to get us out in nature & seasonal recipes to nourish ourselves.
From our four pillars; move, nourish, care & nature we can help slot balance (+ glo) into your everyday life.
If you’re craving structure after a chaotic festive period, the “14 day Choose Joy” journey is for you. For 14 days, beginning Monday 9th January, we invite you to make yourself a priority. From all your favourite teachers, these classes are designed to gently guide you back to YOU. A joyful disposition is our default state, it’s just life can cloud our vision.
The classes include “Happy Heart Flow” Yoga, “Endorphin Boost” Fitness and “Breathwork for Joy”. Check out the whole timetable here.

This January, co-founder Evelyn Joyce is back from maternity leave to create recipes for our members. The recipes this month will be warming, easy one-pot dishes to encourage you to get your friends round to keep connection going in January.
A key to a joyful state is meaningful friendships and food can be a great excuse to re-unite. Hosting doesn’t need to be stressful - Evelyn shares her top tips for an easy and joyful dinner party.

A huge part of why team Balance + Glo have found themselves on the Isle of Wight is to feel close to nature every single day 🌱 A study completed by the Mental Health charity Mind found that 95% of the participants mood improved after being out in nature changing from depressed, anxious to more calm and balanced.
Another study at the Human-Environment Research Lab found that when participants viewed nature scenes, the parts of the brain associated with empathy and love lit up, but when they viewed urban scenes, the parts of the brain associated with fear and anxiety were activated. It appears as though nature inspires feelings that connect us to each other and our environment.
