NEW WEBSITE FEATURES

The Online Studio has had a facelift - here’s what’s new:

We’re excited to share that the Balance + Glo on demand library has been revamped to make the user experience even more tailored, slick and accessible. As the library continues to grow we want to make sure that both our new and founding members get the most out of The Online Studio to support you and your wellbeing.

ADD TO FAVOURITES

add_favourite.jpg

Loved a class and want to have a shortcut to it? Add it to your favourites.

Using the little heart emoji in the top left-hand cover of the class page, tap it so it turns pink and it will be automatically added to your favourites category. Use it to curate your weekly routine. That post-run stretch video, your evening wind-down flow after a long day at work and your go-to quick fire morning fitness session.

RECENTLY WATCHED

recently_watched.jpg

Not only will this mean you can easily access your recently watched classes, but it also lets you know on the class page if you’ve done this class before. So, you don’t get 5 minutes into a class and realise you’d already done it (unless of course you want to repeat it which we totally get too). This category will automatically show up on your on demand library homepage.

PERSONALISATION

Here at Balance + Glo we are all about connection and community. You’ll notice you will be welcomed personally into the On Demand Library making it easy to see that you’re logged in and giving that personal touch. Make sure you join us over on the private Facebook community for members too.

With so much to choose from on The Online Studio we’ve done the hard work for you. The classes are organised into 12 categories to help you get the most out of the library. You can see, for example, all the live classes saved under “Live Class Catch Up” and classes from 10-30 minutes under the category “Short On Time”.

Our Favourites

If you ever need a recommendation for a class or some inspiration feel free to contact team B+G on Instagram @balanceandglo, on the members Whatsapp group, Facebook community or email us at hello@balanceandglo.com.

For now, here are the three favourite classes from Jenny, Evelyn, and Liv.

Co-Founder and Head of Yoga, Jenny loves:

  1. Emma’s Revive Your Morning series. Being a new mumma getting 15 minutes on my mat feels like a luxury at the moment.

  2. Evelyn’s Desk Break Lower Intensity Tabatta. It’s perfect for stepping away from the laptop and lower intensity is a great way to transition back into fitness.

  3. Liv’s Yoga Refresh Flow. A great, simple flow to ease your back into your practice.

Co-Founder and Head of Fitness, Evelyn loves:

  1. Emma’s Pilates Core Express Series. She offer 3 different levels and you can work through the series as you build strength and progress your practice.

  2. Liv’s new Lunchtime Yoga classes. I particularly enjoyed Liv’s lunchtime wiggle class, which helped to relieve tension in my neck and lower back (from spending the morning at my desk)

  3. Jenny’s calming yoga. When feeling a little overwhelmed and have lots on my mind, I like to catch up on Jenny’s wind down yoga classes.

When I feel a little overwhelmed and have lots on my mind, I like to catch up on Jenny’s wind down yoga classes. Every time I remember the value of prioritising self care, learning to slow down, and I have the best night’s sleep.

Yoga Teacher & Marketing Assistant, Liv loves:

  1. Jenny’s Walking Meditation. Being out in nature is so healing for me and this meditation really forces you to be present.

  2. Evelyn’s Lower Body Blitz. I love slow and controlled strength sessions and this one is my favourite. Fab for stretchy yogis who need to balance out the flexibility to strength ratio (particularly in the hamstrings).

  3. Jenny’s Embrace the Wobbles flow. This one’s a throwback to June 2020 but it’s still one of my faves. A fun, really challenging balance sequence that will have you really focused and building single leg stability.
